ETI National
Equestrian Trails, Inc. was established as a nonprofit corporation in 1944 with the Charter to be "Dedicated to the Acquisition and Preservation of Trails, Good Horsemanship, and Equine Legislation." We are a family oriented riding club based in Sylmar, CA.
With its combined membership, ETI has successfully worked to keep open our trails and add more equestrian facilities. The more members we have backing equine legislation and trail preservation, the more likely the State, County and City Officials will be to comply with our needs.
ETI Corrals
ETI has many local member units called "Corrals". Most Corrals are associated with a particular geographic area; however, some are orginized to support/promote a particular activity such as showing, trail riding, gymkhana, mounted assistance units, etc. Below, you will find a list of those Corrals that have web sites. Check them out!!!
ETI Corral Yahoo! Group
The ETI Corral 20 (ETI_C20) Yahoo! Group is one of the ways we maintain communications within the Corral. One of the main features of the group is the Mailing list. Rather than each person having to keep all the names and addresses in their mail program address book, all that need be done is to send a single message to the ETI_C20 Yahoo! Group email address and it will automatically be distributed to all the members of the group. SPAM is automatically blocked and only members of the group are allowed to send mail messages to the rest of the group.
You have the option of receiving each group message individually or messages can be held by the group server and sent out as a single message that contains multiple messages within it (this is called digest mode). If you do not want to receive any messages at all you can also chose this as an option. You can still login to the group and read the messages online via your web browser.
For a quick way to access the ETI_C20 Yahoo! Group, you can click the red Yahoo! logo on the right sidebar or the link below.
Trail Maps
Through the efforts of Randy Hammock and other ETI members, an effort has been made to document as many trails as possible. Using small GPS units, custom software in the early days, and now commercial web sites, many of our trails have been documented so that others can easily access and enjoy them. This documentation can also be used help preserve these trails if need be at later dates.
